PREVIOUS NOTE:<\/strong> <\/strong>The training opportunities you can access depend on your administrative status (whether you have a residence permit or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. IF YOU DON’T HAVE LEGAL RESIDENCY<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

FORMAL EDUCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although you cannot work legally in this situation, you do have the right to take training courses<\/strong> aimed at obtaining a \u00abCertificado de Profesionalidad\u00bb, starting with Level 1: CP1. These courses are offered in various locations across Navarra. Earning a Professional Certificate proves you have a recognized professional qualification valid throughout Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You do not need a NIE\u2013TIE (Foreigner Identification Card); a valid passport is enough<\/strong>. No academic or professional qualifications are required either\u2014just a sufficient level of Spanish<\/strong> to be able to follow the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To register for your first course, you need to contact your Social Worker or the \u00abServicio de Orientaci\u00f3n e Informaci\u00f3n B\u00e1sica en materia de migraciones (SIOB)\u00bb<\/a>. They will register you and provide a personal code<\/strong> that you\u2019ll need for future pre-registrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also get this code and register for the first time through PIM-MIG or Apoyo Mutuo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have the code, you can look for training opportunities that interest you by visiting the training offer section of the Navarra Employment Service (Oferta formativa del Servicio Navarro de Empleo<\/a>). On the left menus, use the filters to select course location (Pamplona, Altsasu\/Alsasua, Aoiz\u2026), choose \u00abCertificado de Profesionalidad: S\u00ed\u00bb, and search for the CP1 you are interested in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking part in these courses can open the door to \u201cArraigo socioformativo\u00bb <\/strong>(residency on the basis of training), as long as you meet the rest of the requirements \u2014 including proof that you\u2019ve been living in Spain for the past two years. See the section about arraigo.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NON- FORMAL EDUCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elkarte<\/strong> offers training in welding, mechanical manufacturing, and plumbing<\/strong> for groups undergoing social reintegration\u2014primarily aimed at the migrant community. To schedule an appointment, call 627 922 370 or 948 250 599.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lantxotegi<\/a><\/strong> works with people\u2014mostly young individuals\u2014at risk of social exclusion, offering an attractive socio-educational alternative. Their goal is to promote healthy social inclusion, both individually and collectively. They also offer two Basic Vocational Training programs (Home Maintenance and Agro-gardening & Floral Arrangements<\/strong>) and a Professional Certificate in Auxiliary Activities in Agriculture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. IF YOU DO HAVE LEGAL RESIDENCY<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Workshop Schools and Integrated Training and Employment Programs<\/strong>. These programs are aimed at unemployed individuals\u2014especially those who face greater barriers to employment\u2014and are designed to improve their chances of finding a job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
